48th edition "Avondvierdaagse"
Just like every year the Elckerlyc school takes part in the "avondvierdaagse". We do this together with organizer Velocitas.
When?
From 18th until the 21st of June
Every day we gather at 18.00 hrs and start our walk at 18.15 hrs.
Make sure that you are on time especially the first day of walking. On the first day you receive your personal stamp card. Also the kids will receive a nice gift!
The 5 and 10 kilometer will be walked for four days. The 3 kilometer is especially for the little ones and will be walked only on the Wednesday and Friday.
Where?
The Montessori and International school De Elckerlyc walk as a group. We gather every day on the sports fields of Velocitas.
On the sports field are poles with the names of the participating schools.
Here we gather every day at 6 pm
Important
Every day before the walk you pickup your stamp card at one of the tables marked "Elckerlyc" after each walk you return the card back to this table. This way we know all the kids have returned.
Who?
Every pupil of De Elckerlyc can participate in this event.
Parents, caretakers, grandfathers, grandmothers are welcome to join in!
Of course also a sister in the stroller!!
Distances
You can choose 3km, 5km or 10 kilometers.
The three kilometers will only walk on the Wednesday and Friday, and is meant for the little ones. Despite this being only two days, they still get a Four Days Medal !!
The 5 and 10 kilometers are walking on all four days.
Collect daily at 18.00.
Price
Per participant:
3 kilometers € 3.50
5/10 kilometers € 5,50
Along the way are refreshing stations with a drink and a snack (sign up here as a volunteer for the refreshing stations).
On the first day of walking, the children all get a nice present.
On the last day everyone is welcomed at the finish by our school director with a delicious snack. When we return to Velocitas sports fields all the medals are handed out!
